Growing up in Ghana, she saw that healthcare resources were scarce and nurses were stretched thin. This, coupled with a personal challenging healthcare experience as a teen, inspired Patricia to pursue a career in nursing. She set out on her journey, working as a home health aide during her high school years and as a clinical technician on the Progressive Care Unit at ILH while studying for her NCLEX-RN exams, which she recently passed! 🎉🙌 We celebrate Patricia's inspirational journey and the invaluable impact she's making in the lives of her patients. Inova Alexandria Hospital recently hosted 40 Alexandria City High School students, giving them an opportunity to explore healthcare opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). They explored diverse career paths through rotations led by our incredible team members, gaining hands-on learning experiences and insights into the world of healthcare.
