Picterus is committed to improving jaundice care worldwide. We have developed a smartphone based tool for jaundice screening, which aims to make a more accurate assessment of jaundice compared with visual assessment.
Jaundice is one of the top conditions that requires a baby to be readmitted to the hospital. The Picterus JP app will help to reduce the strain on the health care system by assuring that serious cases of neonatal jaundice are detected as early as possible so the baby can get the appropriate treatment, and will also reduce unnecessary trips for newborns back into hospitals when treatment is not necessary.
