Workshop
Description: Whether personal or professional, we all have passions that drive us. But how do we recruit others to care about the issues we feel strongly about? In this workshop, we will both learn and practice persuasive speaking and writing. We will implement a framework centered around ethos, pathos, and logos to discuss attendees’ passion points and employ strategies to effectively communicate and disseminate these ideas to others. These critical skills transcend all aspects of your personal and professional career: including, but not limited to medical education, advocacy and professional growth and promotion. Attendees will have the opportunity to practice these tools in real time small groups designed to facilitate 360-feedback. By attending this session, you will learn to be a potent sponsor of yourself and your interests, crafting narratives to influence others.
