Session
Description: APA Simulation-Based Medical Education Simulation-based medical education is a powerful tool to improve knowledge, technical skills, and comfort especially with low frequency, high risk events. However, developing an effective simulation can be a daunting task. In this hands-on workshop, we aim to provide learners with a framework for approaching simulation development to create an effective scenario and case flow. We will round out the session by highlighting strategies to facilitate a debrief that will promote a safe learning environment to reflect on and critically evaluate performance and behaviors.
