Session
Description: This session will provide an overview of evaluation and management of sedation options with an opportunity for hands on airway training with adverse event recognition and management with national experts.
Dr. Chumpitazi will provide an overview of the most common airway adverse events and management with use of adjuncts.
Dr. Childers will review the presedation assessment and in the setting of the most recent data.
Drs. Lin and Rodriguez will lead interactive sessions
• Simulation Sessions A and C (60 minutes total – 30 minutes each scenario)
o 4 baby mannequins
o 2 groups of 4-6 doing the 2 scenarios
• Interactive Workshops
o Pediatric Airway Workshop (30 minutes)
