Description: Diversity and inclusion issues have moved to the forefront of discussions about faculty recruitment and retention. A group that needs to be included in these efforts are those with disabilities. The panel will discuss barriers to recruiting individuals with disabilities including identification and accommodations. The presentation will then shift to retention and promotion. Panelists will share their lived experience with lessons learned and suggestions for improvement.
